A County Fermanagh woman is facing a charge of child cruelty, which relates to allegations of encouraging the consumption of drugs and sexual activity with another person.
The woman, who cannot be identified to protect the alleged victim, is accused of ill-treating a child in a manner likely to cause unnecessary suffering or injury to health.
Dungannon Magistrates Court heard offending is alleged to have occurred over a four-month period between December 2017 and April 2018.
A defence barrister requested time to study the case papers in depth and consult with the accused.
District Judge Michael Ranaghan agreed and adjourned the matter until next month.
