ROADS in the Lisnaskea area have now been re-opened following the clean-up of a spillage of animal waste which occurred on Monday (February 1).

In a statement to the Traffic Watch NI website today (February 3), a Department for Infrastructure (DfI) spokesman said: "Road Users are advised that the B127 Lisnaskea Road has been re-opened between its junction with A34 Main Street, Lisnaskea and the A509 Derrylin Road.

"The C431 Temore road is re-opened between its junctions with the A509 Derrylin Road and the B127 Lisnaskea Road."

It was reported on Monday that the roads had to be closed following the spillage of animal waste which required "specialist environmental health expertise to deal with the clean-up".
