The Killadeas Road between Trory Roundabout and Killadeas has now reopened following a two-vehicle road traffic collision (RTC) where two casualties were taken to hospital this morning (March 8).
Three Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service (NIFRS) appliances – two from Enniskillen Fire Station, and one from Irvinestown Fire Station – attended the incident following a call at 7.56am this morning.
Other emergency services were also in attendance, including the PSNI, Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service (NIFRS), the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service (NIAS), and the Air Ambulance service.
A NIFRS spokeswoman said: “Firefighters were called to a two-vehicle RTC on the Killadeas Road, Irvinestown this morning.
“Firefighters used cutting equipment to rescue two casualties from their vehicles.
“The casualties were taken into the care of the NIAS, and taken to hospital. The incident was dealt with by 9.31am.”
