A BOMB disposal team has arrived in the Riverside area of Enniskillen, in response to the ongoing security alert in the area.
The squad’s arrival follows confirmed reports this morning that PSNI officers found a suspect device in the vicinity and cordoned off the Lough Shore Path area.

Chief Inspector Robert McGowan said: "Police in Enniskillen have cordoned off the Lough Shore Path area, in the vicinity of Riverside, following the discovery of a suspicious device this morning.
"No roads are closed at this time and the public is asked to avoid the area to allow police to conduct enquiries and make the scene safe.”

This is the latest development after a Continuity IRA spokesperson left a warning at The Impartial Reporter on Monday afternoon claiming that a device had been left in the vicinity of the police station, and also alleging that shots had been fired at the station.
