A house party in Derrylin on St. Patrick's Day was broken up by police.

On Wednesday, March 17 police received report of a pary at a property in the village.

At around 11pm it was reported that a number of young people were causing a disturbance in the area.

Police attended and a number of enforcement notices have been issued.

Sergeant McNally said: “A key role for the Police Service of Northern Ireland is to support our public health colleagues and the NI Executive to ensure we all play our part in stopping the spread of the coronavirus and help save lives. It is disappointing and frustrating that some people continue to disregard clear and specific advice, guidance and warnings issued by police, the Health Minister and others but Police will continue in our efforts to implement the Health Protection Regulations.”
