TWO people were arrested on suspicion of supplying controlled drugs after District Support Team officers on patrol in the Enniskillen area stopped a vehicle which smelled "strongly of cannabis".
A PSNI spokesman said: "Officers on patrol in the Enniskillen area recently stopped a vehicle which smelled so strongly of cannabis, we could smell it travelling in the car behind them.
"As a result, we stopped the vehicle and arrested two occupants on suspicion of supplying controlled drugs."
A follow up search was conducted at the home address of the vehicle’s occupants – a residence in the Enniskillen area – which led to the unearthing of further Class-A and Class-B drugs with an estimated value of £4,500.
The PSNI spokesman continued: "As a result, the occupants of the vehicle spent a night in custody. Our enquiries are ongoing.
