THE Superintendent Minister, Rev. Eleanor Hayden, and the Omagh and Fintona Circuit welcomed Rev. Leah McKibben as new Junior Minister to the Circuit at a service held in Togherdoo Methodist Church on Sunday, July 4.
Rev. McKibben worked for more than 10 years with the Bible Society in Northern Ireland prior to entering Edgehill College to train for the ministry.
Her father, Rev. Robin McKibben, a retired Methodist minister, has served on the Enniskillen Circuit in the Letterbreen and Florencecourt Methodist churches.
Rev. McKibben’s family has a strong link with the Methodist Church in Ireland, where her two uncles, Rev. Brian and Rev. Jo Sweeney served.
The welcome service was led by the Circuit’s Superintendent Minister, Rev. Eleanor Hayden.
Rev. Dr. Stephen Skuce, District Superintendent of the North Western District, was present and delivered an inspiring address.
