A man has been fined for possession of Class-B cannabis.

Dylan McHugh (21), of Coach Road, Drumcard, Enniskillen, was stopped by police on the Old Rossory Road, Enniskillen on August 31 last.

A search of his car uncovered cannabis inside a container, which was valued at around £20.

McHugh made full admissions saying it was for personal use and he had bought it for €50.

His solicitor, Gary Black, told the court this was the second time McHugh has come to the court’s attention for this type of matter but since has stopped using cannabis.

Mr. Black said this conviction would hammer the message home and McHugh will not come to attention again.

McHugh was fined £150.
