Speaking following Mr. Baker's visit on Tuesday, January 25, a spokeswoman for the school said: "Mark was delighted with how we work collaboratively with the community to progress our children and young people who are educated together.

"He acknowledged that we welcome children from all faiths, backgrounds and abilities and celebrate diversity and integration through our Peace IV collaboration and Extended Schools Partnership.

"We support children in the preparation of the Sacraments and have developed groups for Syrian Refugees so that they feel welcome in the Community. We are proud to be able to offer a curriculum that is broad, balanced and individual for all. Our children are central to all that we do," said the Jones Memorial PS spokeswoman.
