WHILE the weekend’s rotten weather left people across Fermanagh and far beyond huddling indoors away from the violent winds and drifting sheets of icy rain, hail, sleet and snow, plenty of The Impartial Reporter’s loyal readers were happy to dash outside instead, making the most of some brief-lived snowfall.
While many places shivered in gusts of wind and blasts of rain, a number of places around the county had more benign weather, with winter wonderlands awaiting children of all ages, and many a snowman briefly standing tall in housing estates and on driveways around the county’s towns and villages.
Readers were happy to share some of their shots of some fab February fun in the snow, with children having a particularly cool time playing in the snow.
