As the war in Ukraine continues and over half a million people now displaced from their home country, the people of Fermanagh and the surronding areas have come together to set up donations drives to aid those in need.
Please note that some drives are targeting certain items and you are advised to contact organisers or check social media posts for more detail.
Enniskillen
- Polski Sklep Basia, New Street, are collecting donations everyday until March 4 (Friday)
- Osborne & Co, High Street are collecting everyday until Thursday evening (10am to 5pm)
- The Fermanagh South Tyrone Ulster Unionist Party are collecting donations at the Fermanagh Unionist Hall, Regal Pass everyday until Friday March 4 from 9am – 5pm, contact 02866322028 for further information
- Holy Trinity Primary School are collecting items until Thursday
- The DUP are collecting donations at their office at Quay Lane, until 4.30pm on Friday.
Irvinestown
6th Fermanagh Scout Group are hosting a collection at Saint Molaise Hall from Tuesday to Thursday between 5pm and 8pm
Fivemiletown
Fivemiletown Royal British Legion will be open on Tuesday and Wednesday evening from 7pm to 8pm to recieve donations.
Belleek
Lakeland Veterinary Services are collecting items until 12noon on Thursday
Kesh
Collections are taking place at Crafts at Studio 51, Main Street and will be collected here until Friday at 1pm
A collection has been organised for in Boho hall from 10am to 1.45pm for Wednesday (March 2) and from 7pm to 9pm at the Derrygonnelly Harps clubroom
Hope for Youth Ministries are also organising a collection which is calling at various places across Northern Ireland including Enniskillen, Lisnaskea and Fivemiletown.
