A yellow weather warning for thunderstorms has been issued by the Met Office for areas of Northern Ireland including County Fermanagh.
The weather warning impacts parts of England and Wales as well and is in place from 1pm today (Monday) to 10pm tonight.
Advising as to what people could expect, a Met Office spokesperson said: “There is a good chance driving conditions will be affected by spray, standing water an or hail, leading to longer journey times by car and bus."
The spokesperson continued: “Some short term loss of power and other services is likely as well as a chance of some flooding of homes and businesses or some damage to a few buildings or structures from lightning strikes.”
The impact of the storm has been felt across Fermanagh with residents in Garrison hit with severe weather.
