There have been no reports of a "dangerous" missing man in the Derrylin area to the PSNI.
Indeed, a social media post regarding a missing man appears to be an online hoax.
Reports of the "dangerous missing man on the loose" in Derrylin have proven false. The PSNI has confirmed to The Impartial Reporter that there have been no reports of such an incident today (Monday).
This comes after a false social media post with hundreds of shares has circulated on Facebook warning the public of a missing man known as a Mr. K Brendon allegedly "on the loose" in Derrylin.
Further research by The Impartial Reporter shows that this is a worldwide hoax as identical posts to the ones circulating in Fermanagh today have appeared in the UK, the USA and further afield.
