A BUS of a rather unusual kind has called at a school in the county.
The Water Bus – a double-decker vehicle containing a mobile exhibition unit – visited Jones Memorial Primary School to educate pupils on the importance of water.
The Water Bus co-ordinator said: “Through the Water Bus programme, DRD Water Service aims to make children aware of the importance of water by explaining the water cycle, water sources, water treatment and its distribution.
“It covers a major part of the science curriculum requirement in a fun and educational way through the use of displays, models, experiments, video shows and computers.”
