Local fundraising group Matty's Legacy have presented their donations to local charities.
This year, despite the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic and a few other setbacks, Matty’s Legacy was still able to raise £1,800 through the selling of knitted creme egg chicks and other items.
As a result, Matty's Legacy has been able to donate £1,200 to Chest, Heart and Stroke, with a cheque presented to Una Bourke on behalf of Chest, Heart and Stroke.
Donations were also donated to two local animal rescue sanctuaries: Husky Salvation, and Bright Eyes Animal Sanctuary.
Matty's Legacy would like to thank Una for her continued sponsorship and support, as well as the knitters and shops/outlets who allowed the display of Matty’s Chicks on their premises.
