The driver of a car that was involved in a crash with a lorry in the Derrylin area this morning (August 18) is receiving hospital treatment for 'serious' injuries, the PSNI has confirmed.
The incident occurred shortly after 7am this morning at Main Street, Derrylin.
Following the two-vehicle road traffic collision, the driver of the car was heavily trapped and firefighters used cutting equipment to rescue him from his vehicle.
He was then taken into the care of the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service.

A PSNI spokesperson said: "The driver of the car was transported to hospital for treatment to his injuries that are understood to be serious at this time and the road is expected to reopen shortly.
"Anyone who was on the Derrylin Road around 7am, and who witnessed what happened or has dash-cam footage of the collision, can contact police at 101, quoting reference 243 of 18/08/22."
