The number of deaths recorded as related to Covid-19 have fallen in recent weeks across Northern Ireland; however, Covid-19-related deaths are still continuing.

Looking to the latest pandemic figures provided by NISRA, in the past month there has been a fall in such coronavirus-related deaths.

For the week ending July 15, there were 31 Covid-19-related deaths recorded; the following week, ending July 22, saw 25 such deaths recorded; and in the week ending July 29, there were 24 Covid-19-related deaths recorded.

Such numbers took a sharp fall in August, when for the week ending August 5, there were 10 such deaths recorded; while the most recent data from NISRA shows 8 Covid-19-related deaths recorded.

Looking to deaths recorded as Covid-19-related in the Fermanagh and Omagh District, figures show that July saw five such deaths, with a further drop recorded, to date, in August, with the district recording two deaths as Covid-19-related.
