A former Fermanagh man, who lived near Ederney for about 30 years and the former editor of the Tyrone Constitution and Strabane Weekly News has received his BEM.
Wesley Atchison is pictured after receiving his British Empire Medal (BEM) from the Lord Lieutenant of County Tyrone, Robert Scott, in the Throne Room at Hillsborough Castle on Tuesday, September 26.
Wesley had been awarded the accolade in the late Queen’s New Year Honours List 2022 for services to journalism and the community in County Tyrone. His entire journalistic career spanning 46 years was spent with the Tyrone newspapers.
