Over the coming weeks, the Ardhowen Theatre is hosting a range of exciting events, from theatre to music to workshops, with something for everyone.

Grab your 'Bride Tribe' and throw on your garter for a hilarious night out filled with laughter and tears in Bridesmaids of Northern Ireland at the Ardhowen on Thursday, October 13 at 8pm. Written by TV comedienne Diona Doherty and featuring an all-star cast, Jayne Wisener, Kathryn Rutherford and Diona Doherty. Last few seats available at the time of going to press.

Arts Care and the Public Health Agency host an event as part of the 12th year of ‘Here & Now’ The Older Peoples Arts, Health and Well-being Festival. This Annual Arts Festival offers a unique opportunity for people over the age of 60 to participate in a series of arts activities led by a team of expert Arts & Health Artists. This year the Here & Now Festival has come to the Ardhowen and is offering places to those who love a bit of fun, chat and conversation. This year’s Festival theme is ‘Living well – More Tales to Tell’. ‘A Sense of Place’ Workshops are free and will take place on Fridays from 11am to 1pm starting on October 14. So for a bit of craic, book yourself a place now!

Derryclavin Pipe Band return to the Ardhowen Theatre to celebrate their 100th Anniversary Friday, October 14 at 8pm. The band has gone from strength to strength with a current membership of 33 and will be launching a historic book on the night covering the band’s 100 years on the road. A great evening of musical entertainment is promised with Maguiresbridge Silver Band, Folk group ‘Elbowed Out’ and Derryclavin Pipe Band taking part.

Tom Kelly Promotions presents Mike Denver in Concert on Thursday, October 20 at 8pm. With his excellent backing band, Mike presents a two and a half hour high energy concert show which features all his 'Hits' including 'Tommy K', 'Wasn't that a Party', 'Galway Girl', ‘Blown Away', plus 'hits' from the 60's and 70's.

The Hallowe'en fun starts at Ardhowen with The Teddy, The Witch & The Pumpkin, for children up to six years, on Saturday, October 22 at 2pm followed by The Legend Of Sleepy Hollow, for children aged 5 to 10 years, at 4pm. Isosceles Theatre Company are back with the FANGtastic family show Dracula The Panto on Friday, October 28 at 5pm.

There is more thrilling fun in store for your little monsters with the Hallowe'en Flying Witches and Wizards Workshops with local arts facilitator Genevieve Murphy on Saturday, October 22 and the Spooky Spiders workshops with Julie Armstrong on Saturday, October 29.

The Ardhowen is so excited to welcome Andy & the Odd Socks to the theatre on Sunday, October 30 at 1pm. Young fans will know Andy Day from the hugely popular CBeebies shows like Andy’s Wild Adventures and Andy’s Safari Adventures, but music has always been Andy’s first passion. Like The Monkees or The Simpsons, the Odd Socks appeal to kids and adults alike. Singalong songs that kids adore, with a dash of Mighty Boosh or Flight of the Conchords oddball humour that parents love. Ticket holders can also book a meet and greet ticket via the box office.
