A man has been given penalty points and a fine after police stopped him driving a car with no insurance.
Police were on mobile patrol in Enniskillen on July 4 when they observed a BMW car, Enniskillen Magistrates Court heard on Monday.
It was driven by David Carson (25), with an address of Riverside, Enniskillen, and checks showed he was not named on the insurance policy.
He was asked to produce his documentation but failed to do so within the time specified.
Michael Wilson, a barrister for Carson, told the court his client admitted he had no insurance when he was pulled over, and asked for credit for Carson's timely plea.
When asked by District Judge Steven Keown for a reason as to why Carson was driving a car with no insurance, Mr. Wilson said it was down to "poor decision-making".
Judge Keown fined Carson £400, and handed him six penalty points.
