The public will get the chance to see and have their say on a proposed redevelopment of the Fermanagh Lakeland Forum at the end of the month.

Fermanagh and Omagh District Council are planning to submit an application for planning permission at the Fermanagh Lakeland Forum and Broadmeadow.

A pre-application public event will take place at the Lakeland Forum on Tuesday, November 29, between 1pm and 4pm and again later between 5pm and 8pm.

Those who attend will have the opportunity to see proposed plans for a new leisure centre building, sports pitches, walkways, trails and other outdoor activity uses, a play park, active waterfront areas, new events space, improved pedestrian linkages to Enniskillen town centre, car parking area and hard and soft landscaping.

Further information relating to these proposals may be obtained from the Project Team by emailing wellbeingandculture@fermanaghomagh.com.

Anyone wishing to make comments on the proposal can do so at the event or via the Council’s site at www.fermanaghomagh.com no later than 12pm on Monday, December 19.

Drawings, graphics and images of the Fermanagh Lakeland Forum Redevelopment proposals will be available when the consultation opens on November 28.
