Thankfully, Christmas 2022 seems to have returned a little bit of normality into people’s lives, and Caritas Choir’s schedule is no exception.
The well-known local choir, under the musical directorship of Helen Hamill, have been busy rehearsing for two very different performances and hope to raise much needed funds for local charities who help local families.
In the past number of years, the choir has raised more than £11,000 for various local charities.
On Friday, December 9, they will perform an intimate recital of Christmas Carols and song in The Graan Monastery, Enniskillen at 8pm. All proceeds from the collection on that night will go to Enniskillen Foodbank.
That same weekend, on Sunday, December 11 at 7pm, Caritas will perform carols accompanied by accomplished international organist Prof. Emeritus Desmond Hunter in St. Michael’s Church Enniskillen.
A collection will be taken for the local St. Vincent de Paul’s work.
