A Kesh man has been handed penalty points and fines for several driving offences.
Police stopped a Citroen Berlingo van on Coa Road, Enniskillen on September 5, 2022, which had no vehicle test certificate.
Checks showed it had expired on August 28, 2021. There was also a defective tyre on the van.
Gary Judge (33), of Rosscah View, Kesh was cautioned and issued with a fixed penalty notice but failed to produce the relevant documents to the police.
Judge's solicitor, Gary Black, told the court his client had taken the opportunity for some employment locally, as he usually worked in Dublin, and had no other transport.
Mr. Black said Judge took a chance with the van and was aware it needed work to get through an MOT.
For using a vehicle with no insurance, no vehicle test certificate, a defective tyre and failing to produce his licence, Judge received a total of six penalty points and £550 in fines.
