A former trainee accountant has been made a Partner in a local accountancy firm.

The Chartered Accountancy firm of Patton Rainey & Associates, based in East Bridge Street, Enniskillen, announced this week that Stephanie Stenson has joined the Partnership, with effect from January 1, 2023.

Ken Rainey has been running the accountancy practice since 2002 and Tom Patton joined him in Partnership in April, 2015.

Stephanie joined the firm in 2003 as a trainee and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2010. She then qualified as a Chartered Tax Advisor in 2016 and specialises in advising on taxation matters.

Ken told The Impartial Reporter: “Stephanie was my first trainee accountant when I became a Sole Practitioner and I am personally delighted with her progression in the firm over the last 20 years. She will assume responsibility for managing a wide portfolio of clients in the office with a speciality in taxation.

“Stephanie is a very capable and approachable individual, and I wish her every success in her future career.”

Stephanie is excited by the challenge ahead and has no doubts that the practice will continue to grow and develop in the future.

She adds: “I have thoroughly enjoyed my time in the firm, to date, having gained a lot of valuable experience in the last 20 years.

“This is another opportunity for me to serve clients and especially in all areas of taxation advice.”

Tom Patton also welcomed the addition of Stephanie as a Partner in the firm. He added: “The Practice of Patton Rainey & Associates will continue to offer clients a high professional standard of accounting, taxation and financial advice. This is another important step forward in the progression of the firm.”

The name of the firm will remain unchanged at present, and Tom adds that “this is good news for all clients and staff”.

Currently there are ten members of staff in the firm as well as the three Partners.
