It’s a new month and there’s plenty of fresh entertainment lined up at the Ardhowen Theatre for all tastes.

Music in Fermanagh presents Ashley Wass and Richard Pierce in Harmonious Discord at the Ardhowen Theatre tonight (Thursday, February 2) at 8pm.

An acclaimed pianist, and the Director of Music at the Yehudi Menuhin School, Ashley will play music by Messiaen, Ibert, Prokofiev, Schönberg, Stravinsky, Berg, Ligeti, and Shostakovich.

Richard will describe how his deliberate or accidental exposure to music has widened his musical taste and enjoyment of life in general.

All seats are sold for the upcoming Neil Delamere comedy gig on Friday, February 3 at 8pm, but he will be returning with his hit show, ‘Delamerium’, on Thursday, April 27. Note that this show contains strong language and is suitable for those aged 16-plus.

Fermanagh Art Club is delivering Paint and Feel Good workshops with local artist Gail Turner on Saturday, February 4 at 10am and 1.30pm. In these art workshops for children aged between 7 to 14, they will create a unique painting, step by step, in each session.

On Saturday, February 4 at 8pm, Peter Corry celebrates 30 years in the entertainment industry with this brand-new show, ‘Thank You For The Musicals’.

Enjoy numbers from hit shows, both past and present, including ‘Les Misérables’, ‘Hamilton’, ‘Wicked’, ‘Six’, ‘The Phantom of the Opera’, ‘Moulin Rouge’ and ‘Mamma Mia!’ to name but a few. If you like musicals, you will love this fabulous show.

On Thursday, February 9 at 8pm, Ulster Touring Opera will return to the Ardhowen Theatre for Opera On The Lough, providing a unique evening of opera alongside the celebrated Fermanagh Choral Society.

Soloists, including baritone Brendan Collins and mezzo-soprano Sarah Richmond, will perform some of the world’s best-loved opera arias and choruses, as well as exploring music by composers closer to home.

Tom Sweeney invites you along for an intimate evening of songs and ballads in the Ardhowen Gallery Bar on Friday, February 10 at 8pm.

The Tyrone singer/songwriter and folklorist is a grandson of the legendary Ulster ballad singer, Sarah Makem and a nephew of folk legend, Tommy Makem, and has performed a wealth of songs, stories, poems and tunes in venues around the world for more than 50 years.

Award-winning Blues guitar legend Ronnie Greer brings his all-star powerhouse band back to the Ardhowen stage on Saturday, February 11 at 8pm.

Anthony Toner (guitar and vocals), John McCullough (keyboards), Nick Scott (bass guitar), Peter McKinney (drums) and special guest Ken Haddock (vocals and guitar) combine perfectly with Ronnie to provide an exciting mix of Blues, Roots and a little Jazz-based music, played with style and conviction by some of the best in the business.
