The proceeds of the Fr. John Kearns Memorial Run, that took place last November, were recently presented to a specialist cancer unit at Altnagelvin Hospital.
Presented on behalf of the Bikers’ Memorial Committee, Border Lords MCC and the Kearns family, of Corcaghan in Co. Monaghan, a cheque for £3,066.52 was presented in memory of the late Fr. John, with Eileen and Frank Kearns, and Bikers’ Memorial Treasurer Ciarán Myres, presenting the funds to cancer nurse Sylvie Cole and Dr. McNicholl.
The organisers of the Fr. John Kearns Memorial Run have again thanked all who took part, helped in any way and donated to the cause.
