'Fermanagh's involvement in the Crimea War (1853-1856)' will be the focus of a presentation by Mervyn Hall at Fermanagh Genealogy Centre’s (FGC) next meeting in Fermanagh House. Doors open on Saturday, March 25 at 1.30pm with tea and refreshments served.
This talk will examine the men who served in the Crimea War and highlight available historical records. Everyone is welcome including non-members. Members may also watch the talk live on Zoom, via the FGC website. Tea and refreshments will also be served.
FGC was established in 2012 and is a registered charity run entirely by volunteers in their spare time, with extensive local and genealogy knowledge.
FGC is the delivery partner for genealogical services at Fermanagh and Omagh District Council, based at Fermanagh Visitor Information Centre, Enniskillen.
The aim of the charity is to promote the history and heritage of Fermanagh along with the study of family history.
