There are plenty of eggs-citing events taking place across Fermanagh this Easter weekend.

Running from Friday, April 7 to Friday, April 14, there will be Easter egg hunts at the Fermanagh National Trust properties of Castle Coole and Florence Court.

At Castle Coole in Enniskillen, the trail, which starts at the visitor reception will be open from 11am to 4pm daily over the course of the week, with last entry at 3pm.

Meanwhile, over at Florence Court, along the Easter egg hunt trail, there will be many nature-inspired activities for the whole family. The trail will be open from 11am to 5pm, with last entry at 4pm.

The price of both trails includes a trail map, pencil and a chocolate egg at the end.

Over the Easter half-term break, Share Discovery Village in Lisnaskea is hosting a range of activities for all ages from April 7 to 16.

Cuilcagh Lakelands Geopark Easter Selfie Scavenger Hunts are taking place at various locations across Fermanagh and Cavan over the next week. Join Geopark staff in at Cavan Burren Park on April 8, Killykeen Forest Park on April 11 and Castle Caldwell on April 12.

Meet at the main carpark to collect a scavenger hunt checklist then take a walk on one of the beautiful trails to check off your list, taking 'selfies' as you go before returning to Geopark staff to get a prize!

Easter Monday

On Easter Monday (April 10), a fun-filled day for all the family awaits at Florence Court. Lily and Peter Rabbit will be making a special visit to the Fermanagh National Trust property where there will also be face painting, live music, a BBQ in the Stable Yard and much more.

All are also welcome to come along and explore the beautiful grounds and gardens of Florence Court on the day.

Over in Belleek, an Easter family fun day is being held at Belleek Pottery featuring a 'Kidz Farm', ice-cream, Easter Egg Hunt, music, a craft fair, Easter crafts and much more from 12noon to 4pm.

The Annual Easter Monday Picnic in the Park at Forthill Park in Enniskillen will take place on Easter Monday from 2pm to 4pm.

The afternoon will see it play host to an Easter Egg Trail, Easter chicks, traditional games, music from the bandstand, Jo-Jingles, traditional craft and hula-hooping.

Cole's Monument will be open affording you the opportunity to see Galbraith Lowry Cole up close.

Admission to the park/Easter Egg trail and activities is free.
