To help raise funds for the upcoming Enniskillen Comic Fest, the organising team is hosting a cartoons-themed pub quiz tomorrow night (Friday, April 21).
Taking place in the Atrium Bar, Blakes of the Hollow, from 8pm to 10pm, the quiz is supported by CEX Enniskillen and will feature questions on popular cartoon shows. The price of entry is per person, and there is a maximum of four people per team.
Following the great success of last year’s event, Enniskillen Comic Fest will return this summer with a fantastic line-up of special guests from across the comic book world. Having enjoyed his Enniskillen Comic Fest experience in 2022, Garth Ennis – the world-famous acclaimed comics writer well-known for content including ‘The Boys’, and ‘Preacher’ – will return to launch the follow up to last year’s Battle Action Special with the Battle Action miniseries. Each issue will also have a story by another writer and the first issue includes the legendary John Wagner.
Joining Garth on the 2023 line-up are Keith Burns, John Wagner, Dan Cornwell, PJ Holden, Staz Johnson, Patrick Goddard and Mike Dorey.
This year’s Comic Fest will run over two days: Saturday, June 3, from 10.30am to 5pm at St. Macartin’s Cathedral Hall, and Sunday, June 4 from 11am to 4pm at The Enniskillen Hotel.
