One person was taken to hospital after a car crashed through the front of an Enniskillen shop today, Friday, June 16.

The PSNI and Northern Ireland Ambulance Service (NIAS) personnel attended the incident this morning at the 24-hour shop on Queen Street, beside Enniskillen Police Station.

The car, a taxi, crashed in through the front of the busy shop.

A spokesperson for NIAS said: "The Northern Ireland Ambulance Service received a 999 call at 10.33am on Friday, June 16, 2023 following reports of an incident in the Queen Street Area, Enniskillen.

"Two Ambulances, One Rapid Response Paramedic and Charity Air Ambulance with HEMS on board were tasked to the incident.

"Following assessment and initial treatment at the scene, one patient was taken to South West Acute Hospital by Ambulance."

The PSNI confirmed they attended the scene of the road traffic collision.
