Businessman Derek Keys, the founder of the Dromore-based company Euro Auctions, has been awarded an OBE for services to the economy.
The well-known auctioneering company has sites all around the world.
Founded in 1998, Euro Auctions conducts more than 60 major auctions, every year, around the globe in six countries and is one of the leading specialist auctions houses in the world.
In recent years, Mr. Keys has been involved in the takeover of Necarne Estate in Irvinestown, which has held a number of successful events.
