A man has been convicted of having no insurance after he was stopped by police in Bellanaleck.
Sevdalin Yosifov (37), with an address of The Sidings, Enniskillen, was stopped on the Derrylin Road, Bellanaleck on April 28 driving a Vauxhall Astra.
Checks showed he did not have a valid insurance policy in place, Enniskillen Magistrates Court heard on Monday, July 3.
The court heard Sevdalin made full admissions to police.
His solicitor, Michael Fahy, told the court that in the day in question, Sevdalin’s insurance had just expired and he accepted it was entirely his fault.
Mr. Fahy said a new policy had been taken out two days after the incident, and added he advised Sevdalin to transfer his Turkish licence to a UK driving licence, and that this offence will not occur again.
For using a vehicle with no insurance, Sevdalin received a £350 fine and six penalty points.
