The £12 million redevelopment of the iconic lakeside hotel and marina, which is a joint venture between the Crawford family, of Crawford Marina Ltd, and the Cassidy Hospitality Group, was given the green light by the planning committee of Fermanagh and Omagh District Council at a meeting last month.

The plans will overhaul the current facility, upgrading the hotel from 12 bedrooms to 60 bedrooms and offering amenities now expected by guests such as a restaurant, bar and function suite.
