Enniskillen was abuzz with the news that local couple Jonny Johnston and Christina Williams were the newest millionaires in the County.

The news was announced on Thursday that the local couple had won £3.8m in the Lotto Jackpot

The Impartial Reporter hit the busy streets of Enniskillen and spoke to local residents about their reaction to Jonny and Christina's big win.

We asked those on the street two very simple questions:

  1. Are you happy to hear the news?
  2. What would you spend £3.8m on if you won?

"I am very delighted to see local people winning for a change. I’m always disappointed to see the cash call never comes this side of the county so it is good to see local people winning

"I would bring my whole family to travel first class to visit my brother in Japan, and stay in luxury accommodation

"I would buy a house near Lough Erne and an island on Lough Erne for the craic and a boat to get to the island

"I would give a bit to the home help service to help live well at home."

"I don’t know them but I am delighted for them as it’s nice to see someone local win it.

"If I won it I have always had an idea of starting my own mini golf business as it is something we need in the community. We are in the Border so it would be something for people to travel to do.

"And I’d buy a home in Ibiza with as Es Vedra."

"I am thrilled for them, I really am.

"I heard about it when I was in the vet this morning picking up tablets for the dog.

"I haven't a clue what I'd buy. I think I would just spread it out around everybody, I don't need for a thing.

"Well, good luck to them!"

"Good news for the area, it will bring more money to the community hopefully."

"I would have to consult with the other half to see what she thought.

"But, I would try and do some good with it, if I could.

"Probably would go on holiday, somewhere further afield, the other side of the world, New Zealand, look at some sheep, maybe import a lock."

"Of course I am, who wouldn't be?

"Its a brilliant news story for the area, I don't know them, but think I know them to see.

"What a better Christmas present.

"First of all, I don't think I'd tell anybody if I won it, I couldn't tell anybody

"I would take a wee break somewhere, maybe New Zealand or Australia, somewhere where you wouldn't know anyone so maybe Asia.

"All-inclusive, first class, everything sorted for you, no planning or nothing. I would go on my own but I would treat my family and spread the lovely.

"Maybe get myself on the property ladder, I don't know, get a nice car, pay off your debts, pay off the students loans and maybe start a good business and then not have to have worry about things."

"It is great news for the area. It is absolutely.

"I was just listening to it and he said he got mixed up with the amount of noughts which was on, thinking it was £3,000.

"Good luck to him.

"I spend it everyday in my head, I think everyone gets a nice holiday gets it.

"I read last week in the paper about a lady in Strabane who won it, who said she wouldn't wish it on her worst enemy.

"As long as he gets good advice, good luck to him."

Lynda: "Best of luck to him, I wish it was me.

"I'd spend it on private healthcare

Megan: "I would probably pay off my student loan and buy a house, maybe a holiday home abroad somewhere.

I'd buy a car, a Merc probably, go all out, at the end of the day, there'd no shortage of money."

Keith: "A cruise, all expenses paid

"I heard that, I was a heard there was a fella works in Erneside won it, and I heard a seventy-year-old won it with his two sons.

"I would love to give three quarters to charity. I'd give it to the Dogs Trust, the cancer charities and the Air Ambulance.

"Then I'd upgrade the car!"
