Every year a group of brave swimmers get into Lough Mac Nean in Blacklion on Christmas Day fundraising for a worthy charity, and for Christmas 2023, the chosen charity was The Children’s Cancer Unit Charity.
The charity is dedicated to helping fund the children’s haematology and cancer unit in the Royal Belfast Hospital for Sick Children.
A young girl from the local area, Niamh McPartland, avails of the unit and its services, and the community in Belcoo and Blacklion wanted to get behind the young girl.
