IT’S A narrative painted with the hues of a classic Country break-up song, where the union that once seemed unbreakable now dissolves.

This is what fans of Nathan Carter will be coming to terms with as the singer and his manager, John Farry, part ways after 14 years together.

Mr.Farry made the announcement on social media on Sunday that after all that time, he and Mr. Carter have parted company.

In the post, Mr. Farry said: “It is with an equal mix of great satisfaction, pride, and sadness that I leave the Nathan Carter management post after all this time.

“When I look back on what Nathan has achieved, to date, in the music business, from his very first gig in the Greenvale Hotel Cookstown on January 28, 2010, to playing large venues such as the 3Arena Dublin, the SSE Belfast, INEC Killarney, London Palladium, Royal Concert Hall, Glasgow, and a few thousand other shows throughout Ireland, tours in the UK, Europe, America, Germany and Australia etc, I can only look back with great pride on what has been an incredible journey together.

“During this same period we have written many songs together, and Nathan has recorded a total of 19 albums – six number-one albums – and several DVDs.

“I am proud to say that I discovered Nathan Carter, and I believe that I am leaving the management post now in a good place, knowing that Nathan is at the very top of the tree in hi s genre in the Irish entertainment world.

“I wish Nathan and the band every success in the future, and I have no doubt that his career will continue to develop further in the years ahead.”

Mr . Farr y went on to pay tribute to his family as well as the many others he met along the way and worked with over the years.

“To the many friends I have met along the way, thank you also for being part of this journey.

“Finally, a huge thanks to you, Nathan, it’s been a pleasure.”

In response, Mr . Carter took to social media to pay tribute to Mr . Farry, saying: “I just wanted to take this opportunity to thank John Farry for all his effort and commitment to me and the band over the last 14 years.

“We’ve had some great times together and wrote some great songs.

"I want to wish John, Anne and family all the very best in the future.”
