A 22-YEAR-OLD woman who tried to outrun police near Irvinestown has been bailed.
She was detected by police who were on mobile patrol in the Irvinestown Road area of Enniskillen around 11.35pm on Friday, February 23.
Police observed how she was driving a blue Peugeot 108, driving without her headlights on.
The woman failed to stop for police and made off in the direction of Irvinestown.
A short time later, the vehicle came to a stop in the Main Street area of Irvinestown after police deployed a stinger device.
She was arrested on suspicion of a number of offences, including dangerous driving, driving when unfit through drink or drugs, aggravated vehicle taking causing damage to property, failing to stop for police, no driving licence, and using a motor vehicle without insurance.
She has since been released on police bail to allow for further enquiries.
