I can hardly keep up with the busy crew over at The Perfect Pint, Fivemiletown – every time I look around, they seem to have been busy with another fundraiser for another great cause.

This time, I see that they’ve been busy helping The Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust – that amazing charity that has helped so many families at a truly awful time, helping them to repatriate the remains of loved ones who have died abroad in sudden or tragic circumstances back to Ireland.

The popular pub held a couple of quiz night fundraisers in February and March, and raised a great £2,150 from the nights, and donations.

Colin Bell himself, father and founder of The Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust, attended the second quiz night, and spoke how the charity was set up, its work, and how the generosity of so many people and fundraisers like The Perfect Pint’s help it to continue its work.

Pictured presenting a cheque for the £2,150 are Mark Loughran (The Perfect Pint), Fabian McGlone (quiz master), Colin Bell (The Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust), Geraldine Wilson, Eileen McKenna, David McKenna and Paul McKenna (quiz organisers).

I’m not at all surprised to hear that The Perfect Pint are already working on some more fundraisers coming up, on two Thursdays – April 18, and May 30 – in aid of Belfast Health and Social Care Trust – Regional Acquired Brain Injury Unit, so if you’re in the area do check them out and help support another very deserving cause. Cheers!
