The new Principal of Enniskillen Integrated Primary School has been announced.
Mr. Callum Hannigan will take on the role from September 1, when current Principal Adele Kerr retires.
In an email to parents and carers yesterday morning (Wednesday, May 15), Mrs Kerr informed parents of the appointment,
She said: “I am pleased to inform you The Board of Governors have appointed Mr Callum Hannigan as Principal, commencing September 1, 2024.
Callum has taught in Omagh Integrated Primary School before taking up the role as Vice-Principal in Mill Strand Integrated Primary School. Callum will visit us during this term and will work closely with me in August to make sure there is a smooth handover.”
Mrs Kerr added: “I remain in post until August 31, 2024 and my email account will be active until then.”
Mrs. Kerr has been the Principal of the school for 25 years, the school has been transformed during Mrs. Kerr’s tenure, having doubled its intake, with a £6.9m extension opened in 2023.
