Donegal schools were among many in the Republic of Ireland who received bomb threats on Wednesday.
The threats were made to schools across the Republic of Ireland and claimed to be from Hamas.
It is understood schools close to the Fermanagh border received the threats which arrived yesterday.
Messages to schools said the threats were from “Hamas militants” and demanded an “immediate ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.”
It also called on the European Union to “withdraw its support for Israel”.
