DEAR MADAM - As a driver of a Motability vehicle I would like to make it clear to those who are under the misapprehension that we are getting free cars - this is not the case.
I and all others who receive Disability Living Allowance pay half of our benefit towards our cars each month; also when we go to change our cars every three years, depending on the model, we pay an advanced payment.
So to all those who make snide remarks, think again before saying something you know nothing about.
