The annual Fermanagh Point to Point Festival at Necarne, Irvinestown scheduled for earlier this month will now be staged on Friday evening, May 31 and Saturday, June 1.
Racing gets underway at 4.30pm on the first session while Saturday's action has a start time of 2.30pm and features the Open Race and Mares Winners race with LoIs Eadie breeder of this year's Cheltenham Gold Cup winner, Bobs Worth set to represent the sponsors, the Irish Thoroughbred Breeders Association and present winning connections with the trophy.
Derrylin trainer, David Christie is always the man to follow at his home fixture and will have numerous runners over the two days. DARD's Enniskillen College will be expecting success on their home patch having acquired a large number of racehorses to train.
The prime focus of regular point to point fans will be the Ulster Leading Rider title as presently Newry rider, Noel Mc Parlan has a one winner advantage over Larne jockey, Ben Crawford with the tally 14-13 in favour of the first named.
