Vicki Graham, a Year 12 student at Fivemiletown College, was on international duty last week as she represented Ireland at the Sainsbury Schools Games in Manchester.
Vicki plays rugby for Fivemiletown College and Clogher Valley Rugby Club and during the Easter holidays she attended screening days for Ulster Sevens at under 18 level. Here she was selected to represent Ulster at an Interprovincial Blitz in DCU, Dublin.
At this tournament Vicki was then selected to be part of a training squad of 20 for Ireland Sevens (u18) and she was successful in securing a place when the squad was further whittled down to 12 players. From this she went on to represent Ireland at the Sainsbury School Games in Manchester last weekend.
Currently, alongside fellow pupils Jenna Wright and Lucy Somerville, Vicki is also part of the Ulster XV’s squad at U18 level.
