Ballinamallard and Fivemiletown both made their exits from the Irish Cup today with Ballinamallard going down following a penalty shoot out away to Warrenpoint Town while Fivemiletown lost 3-0 to Loughgall.
Ballinamallard gave a debut to goalkeeper Richard Brush and he made a number of fine saves as the game finished 0-0 after normal time.
With neither side able to make the breakthrough in extra time it was left to penalties to decide the outcome.
However, it was the Championship pacesetters who were to progress as they secured a 5-4 shoot out win to book their place in the next round.
Fivemiletown were hoping to cause another cup upset when they travelled to Loughgall to take on the Championship side.
Indeed, Scott Robinson's side would have fancied their chances when the home side were reduced to 10 men on the hour mark.
Loughgall though were to hit three late goals to seal their passage into Round Six.
