The SFL Division One final between Derrygonnelly Harps and Ederney St Joseph's has been called off.

The game, a repeat of the Senior Football Championship final which was won by Derrygonnelly, had been scheduled to be played on Sunday but in a statement on Friday the Fermanagh CCC said the game would not be played following the receipt of correspondence from Derrygonnelly Harps.

Derrygonnelly are due to play Scotstown in the Ulster Club Championship on Sunday October 21 and had sought a postponement of the league final as they look to focus their efforts on preparing for that game. The CCC stated that no agreement coud be reached between the two clubs for an alternative time to play the game.

The Fermanagh CCC statement read:

"The Manor House Senior Football League Division 1 Final between Derrygonnelly Harps & Ederney St Joseph's will not be played this Sunday, following the receipt of correspondence from the Derrygonnelly Harps club.

"As a committee, we are disappointed at this outcome and we will meet to consider this correspondence. However, we appreciate the positions of both clubs on this matter.

"Despite our best efforts, we have been unable to secure an agreement between the two clubs involved on an alternative time to play this important game."
