Fermanagh Motorcycle Club held its Bike Show this year in the fantastic venue of Castle Irvine Estate, Irvinestown.

With lots of space for approximately 100 various bikes on show – from Classics to Modern, to Off-Road to Bicycles with Motors – the spectators had plenty to see.

Bikes were brought from all across the country to have on show and bikers came from everywhere to see the spectacle. Organisers were keen to offer a big thank-you to everybody who made the effort to bring their precious bikes for everyone to see.

With 25 stands selling their wares, there was a variety of bike paraphernalia for sale – everything from bikes, bike parts, tyres, helmets, jackets and gloves to books, caps, T-shirts, etc. There was no shortage of things for bikers to browse and buy, with organisers offering their thanks to all the stall holders for coming and supporting the club.

Childrens entertainments was also supplied outside, alongside chip vans, coffee vans and of course an ice cream van there too, for the beautiful day that was in it, with attendees needing cooling down.

Endurocross

As well as the bike show on Sunday, there was the Proride Endurocross, with a big hats-off due to Proride for putting on one of the best events locally in a long time.

A tough short, spectator-friendly Endurocross course over logs, through rivers, rock garden, forestry and lots more, was completed by adults and youth alike.

It was fantastic to watch and every spectator was enthralled by it. A big thank-you again went to Proride for a professional show and well-done to all the riders.

So, with another successful event by Fermanagh Motorcycle Club now over, organisers said: “A big thank-you to everyone who helped out at the show – you know who you are!

“But most of all, a massive thank-you to Castle Irvine Estate for the use of a fantastic venue that would be hard to beat.”

Every year Fermanagh Motorcycle Club donates to a charity. This year, the club has chosen two charities to support: Ellie’s Retreat, and the Aisling Centre.
