Fermanagh and Omagh District Council is set to appoint a new Director of Environment and Place.
The appointment will mark another change at the top of the Council following the appointment of Alison McCullagh as Chief Executive last year, who took over from Brendan Hegarty last February.

Under 'main purpose of the job' for the advertised position, the Council's website states the postholder will contribute to and work within the Council’s policies to "provide leadership in the development and implementation of strategies focused on the delivery of the strategic objectives of [the] Council".
The postholder will lead, direct and manage the Directorate and ensure services are delivered efficiently and effectively within existing resources, among other duties.
The post comes with an advertised salary of between £84,224-£88,829.
The closing date for applications for the position was noon today, January 29.
