VERA RICE

RICE Vera Husband John, daughters, son and the entire family circle of the late Vera Rice, we would like to express our sincere gratitude to all who sympathised with us on our sad loss, words cannot express our deep appreciation. We would like to acknowledge the support and dignified care provided by all Doctors and Nurses who attended Vera during her illness but in particular the District Nurses of Lisnaskea for their gentle care who went beyond their call of duty while looking after Vera at her own home. A special thank you to Marie Curie who supported Vera and us as a family whose care and attention was second to none during Vera’s final few weeks. We would like to thank our relatives, friends and neighbours for their thoughtfulness and assistance throughout the wake and past eleven months. We sincerely thank everyone who called to the house and travelled long distances to sympathise with us and also those who telephoned, sent cards, lit candles or helped in any way. A special word of thanks to Ollie Swift and Felix McCaffrey Funeral Undertakers for the professional and sensitive approach in which they carried out the funeral and St. Patrick’s GFC, Donagh and Knocks Drama Group for their guard of honour. To Lorraine Murphy for the beautiful music, altar servers, Eucharistic Ministers, the gravediggers and to Donagh Clubhouse for the beautiful refreshments following the burial. We wish to express a special gratitude to Canon Mullen who celebrated the Funeral Mass and for his attentiveness and spiritual support for Vera throughout her illness along with other priests and clergymen. As it is impossible to thank everyone individually we hope this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our deep heartfelt gratitude to all of you. Vera’s Months Mind Mass will be celebrated in Holy Cross Chapel, Lisnaskea on Sunday 29th January at 7pm.
