Portora bounced back from the painful School's Cup defeat by Dalriada by thrashing Antrim Grammar School to reach the semi-final of the School's Plate, where they will face local rivals Omagh.

Clogher Valley opened their defence of the Towns' Cup with a comfortable if not stuttering victory at Lisburn.

Enniskillen faced a tough task in the second round of the Towns Cup last Saturday when they travelled to Qualifying One side Dromore but a fine team performance saw them book their place in the next round.

Ladies top pool with deserved win
With the heavy rain of Saturday night, the Enniskillen girls took to an extremely muddy Mullaghmeen in miserable conditions, for a match which was to be a battle of the forwards at the breakdown and turned out to be the only match to be played, of the four due to be played, in the Ulster Cup this weekend.

The real action will get underway for Fermanagh manager Peter Canavan and his charges this Sunday when they take on London at Ruislip.
