ACHESON Loftus The family of the late Loftus Acheson, Ballinamallard would like to express their sincere gratitude to all those who sympathised with them in their recent sad loss. Thank you to all the friends and neighbours who visited the home, brought gifts and food, telephoned, sent cards and letters, attended the funeral or helped in any way. Your support was greatly appreciated. A grateful word of thanks goes to GP Dr R Richey, Social Worker Myrtle Harron, Breegeen McKervey and her District Nursing Team, Janet Kilfedder, Hospice Nurse Specialist and the numerous Marie Curie Nurses and Care Assistants who all made it possible to nurse Loftus at home until his passing away. Special thanks to the Revd. Canon Dr Ian Ellis for his visits and pastoral care during Loftus’s illness and following his death and for conducting the funeral service assisted by the Ven. Cecil Pringle. Thank you also to the organist Catherine Irwin and the ladies of Rossorry Parish Church who served refreshments following the funeral. Finally sincere gratitude to Mr Austen Stinson for organising funeral arrangements in such a caring and dignified manner.
